MA, LCMHC

I firmly believe that a trusting, collaborative relationship is the heart of effective
counseling—it is truly where healing begins. My goal is to cultivate a warm, affirming
environment where you feel completely safe to express yourself fully and authentically.
I provide neurodiversity-affirming therapy for toddlers through young adults. I specialize
in working with anxiety-related issues, as well as neurodivergence (like Autism, ADHD,
and learning disabilities). My approach stems from a Person-Centered lens, and I
integrate a wide variety of evidence-based techniques aligning with your individual
goals.

With children, I primarily use Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), which aims to
create a consistent & safe therapeutic environment for children to express themselves
authentically through play. I aim to meet your child where they're at to develop the tools
they need to navigate their world. I believe in the power of a village, and as part of your
child's treatment plan, I work on collaborating with parents, caregivers, and - upon
request - other essential individuals in your child's life to help facilitate your child’s
growth in and out of sessions.

In 2019, I received my bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Louisville. While
there, I worked in an eating disorder research department and also worked as a teacher
at an early childhood education center. I then went on to earn my master’s in counseling
from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte in August 2023 with an emphasis in
Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a concentration in Play Therapy.

My goal in therapy is to create an environment that feels meaningful for you, like using
expressive arts, walking, or games as additional ways to process emotions and learn
skills. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you through your therapeutic
journey!
