Are you a parent struggling to help your child navigate big emotions or challenging behaviors? Do you want to feel more connected to your child, but aren’t sure how to get there? Perhaps, you’re an adult navigating difficult relationships, figuring out your next steps, or preparing for a major life transition. Maybe you’re working to build confidence, or reconnect with who you are. Whatever brings you here, you deserve a space where you feel understood and empowered to grow.

I am passionate about supporting children through difficult emotions and helping adults navigate the ebbs and flows of life. Together, we will build emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and self-awareness. Whether you are a parent or adult, therapy can be a space to foster growth and move toward the life you want to create.

I believe in the importance of a strong therapeutic relationship and that healing can occur through the relationship. My goal is to provide a welcoming space for my clients to be authentically themselves while allowing them the space to process their world. Every client has a unique story and experiences and therefore, I implement a personalized approach for each client.

When working with children under the age of 12, I utilize Child-Centered Play Therapy providing a safe and consistent environment where your child is comfortable expressing themselves through their natural language of play! As your child's therapist, my goal is to build a relationship with your child in which their experience is full of acceptance, empathy, and understanding. Your child will begin to process and understand their inner experiences and feelings. My goal is to help your child unleash their potential and move toward integration and self-enhancing ways of being. I am additionally trained in providing Child-Parent Relationship and Child-Teacher Relationship skills to help parents and teachers continue supporting their children and students both at home and in the classroom.

I am also drawn to body-based and experiential techniques to help guide clients in reconnecting with themselves. I am trained in Brainspotting. Brainspotting is a mind-body approach to help individuals process trauma, emotional pain, and other mental health issues by  a way of using where you look to help your brain process experiences that words alone sometimes can't reach. What I like about Brainspotting is that it is a gentle approach that doesn’t require talking.

In 2021, I earned a Bachelor of Science in International Business at Messiah University. I later graduated from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte receiving a Master’s Degree in Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health and Play Therapy.

I moved to the Charlotte area in 2022 and have loved being here. When not working, I can be found crocheting, enjoying nature, spending time with my cats, exploring with friends, and trying new recipes.

I am excited to meet you and walk alongside you in your therapeutic journey!
