I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation of producing change. Our therapist/client relationship allows you to be your authentic self where you can begin to process your experiences and emotions in a safe and inclusive space. Each client brings different life experiences, beliefs, and values and therefore is the expert in their own lives. Because each person is beautifully unique, I offer an integrative counseling approach with a person-centered foundation to meet the needs of each client.
I work with children, teens, and adults struggling with a variety of mental and behavioral health issues such as depression and anxiety. Because play is a child's natural language, I utilize play therapy when working with children incorporating toys and activities to offer comfort and alternative ways to express their thoughts and emotions. Throughout each session, my goal is to meet you exactly where you are, with unconditional positive regard, so I can best support you in your therapeutic journey.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Catawba College and later earned my Master of Health Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
During my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, and spending time with my family, and well-loved pets!
I look forward to hearing from you so we can begin your therapeutic journey toward change and new life experiences together.
